During the last 60 years Tees Licensed Foyboatmen’s Association Limited have safely and efficiently moored everything from super tankers to car ferries.
Our core activity is the mooring and unmooring of seagoing vessels visiting the Tees.

Mooring and unmooring requires expertise and experience and all of our members undergo rigorous training.
​
Experience gained over the years is passed on through mentoring while nationally recognised certifications are gained to ensure the best service.
Moorings and Maintenance
TLFA have a fleet of boats suitable for a variety of situations. All of the boats are MECAL certified and are supplied with qualified and experienced personnel.

Safety boats & workboats
TLFA is also licensed by PD Ports to operate as marine riggers for barge and project cargo vessels on the Tees.

Co-ordinated working alongside our own mooring crew ensures that we provide a comprehensive service to meet diverse maritime requirements.

The service is backed up by our own workboats to provide boarding and landing for up to 10 persons.
